Meniere’s Presentation Northbridge Rotary

Dr Celene McNeill was invited to speak last night at the Rotary Club of Northbridge on the topic of Meniere’s disorder and Cochlear Implants. Rotarian Peter McNaire who organised the event, introduced Dr McNeill during the clubs weekly meeting. There were plenty of questions after the talk as Meniere’s disorder is difficult to diagnose and can be related to episodes of vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus. There was also a lot of interest in seeing first hand the Cochlear implant device that Dr McNeill passed amongst club members after hearing how they work and the delicate surgery required to implant them.

Thank you to Club President Kevin Tattrie for your warm reception, Peter McNaire for organising the event as well as all the fine folks of Northbridge Rotary Club who welcomed Dr McNeill and her husband Peter.
